Topic review - Sharing PPE and COVID-19

It really depends upon the type of PPE. All of our technicians have their own gloves, face shields, balaclavas, and 8+cal work uniforms. We have a few 40cal and lower suits which are shared.

Current practice but might be changing. Granted , it might change so that nothing that touches skin be shared but don’t know. Many are worried about cost but could reduce numbers that need it via reducing qualified persons. Many options on the table right now that was not last month.

These are strange times causing us to look at most situations differently. One such situation is sharing PPE. Some may share arc flash suits and other equipment.

Here is this week's question:

Do you share any PPE with others?
Yes
No
Don't use PPE

What are your thoughts about this?

I sincerely wish of you good health during this uncertain time.
