Post subject:  Utility Grade Battery Energy Storage System grounding

Has anyone dealt with utility-grade BESS personal safety grounding yet? I have a site that has string outputs to several inverters. Each string has a DC max fault current of 106ka at the disconnect switch. My client inherited this from a design-build contract that had basically no engineering oversight. Now they are stuck with it, and are questioning how to appropriately install personal safety grounds per OSHA 1910.269(n). The TPGs are rated per ASTM 855, but this is an AC fault current test based on cycles of trip time, not a DC source.

Anyone dealing with safety of these Battery Energy Storage Systems? This is unique to utility-grade BESS. NEC locations do not have the same stipulation as far as I can tell.
