Cool new idea from URC, the Quick Trip (Arc flash reduction switch) for AC PRO can now be activated with a kirk key, which you interlock with all of the feeder breakers downstream.

Ensures you have your reduced arc flash settings enabled before racking out any breaker in that substation. Good idea, I like it.

Kirk key infomation

Hello Zog,

Would it be possible to send me the site information as well. I'll later fill out my profile, in short I'm a electrical technologist given the task to try to find alternate methods to reduce the arc flash (cal's) on board vessels, with a confined control room.
Thanks for any information that you can pass on.
