Post subject:  GE ArcVault AF Mitigation Technology still in production?

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to check if anyone knows if GEs ArcVault mitigation technology is still in production at this time?

Its an impressive mitigation technology from 2010 if im not mistaken however i don't see too many updated articles on this on the web.

Im not sure if that is because the technology has not seen changes since its implementation or if simply no longer in production.

Curious if this equipment is still being applied to facilities or if the newer are quenching technologies have made this obsolete.

If that still exists its probably owned by ABB now. Looks like that is installed on the load side of the main breaker. Wonder how effective it is for a line side fault.

Eaton has a retrofit system that grounds all the phases immediately to collapse the voltage and therefore the arc. I believe it's meant to be installed on the line side but am not 100% sure about that.
