What is everyone doing for replacing/pulling/seal out of residential kWh meters? Are you requiring a minimum of 4 cal clothing? What other PPE (face shield)? What about the 480V metering that is not instrument PT fed? |

The NESC Work Rules subcommittee is proposing new tables for section 41 for voltages below 1000 volts and currents below 50,000 amps. Below is a summary of a relevant part of the proposed table Self-contained meters / Pad-mounted transformers / Panels and Cabinets 251 – 500 V 20 cal/cm^2(note 4) 4. Industry testing on 480V equipment indicates exposures for self-contained meters do not exceed 20 calories/cm2. |
