Can you create a new Single Line? I think I've had that before, but was able to rebuild it with a new one (although this takes time). Just select an existing component like the utility with CTRL-I and expand from there with CTRL-E. |

Given that this website is aimed at arc flash hazards and their analyses, I would suggest there are more relevant places to post SKM questions that aren't related to arc flash...

Have you done the standard cleanup procedures? 1. Run RegDel 2. Run Database Utility on project? 3. Ctrl+Shift when opening project to validate? Whenever I have my fortnightly/monthly crash, doing at least 1 & 2 seems to work for a while. If the project is small enough, I do 3 as well which is even better, but on big projects (1000 buses/10 scenarios) it takes too long (8hrs plus) |

Actually, the FIRST thing to do is to contact support at SKM. Call, complain, raise a fuss. They can't fix what they don't know about! [And they won't fix what peopl;e don't complain about] {And then THEY will tell you to do the Cleanup ScoptPET talks about They RARELY have me do the regdel for this sort of issue. If you are expired however..... I would suggest that FIRST you do a backup. Then open the backup project and see if you still have the issue with the oneline. If you do, then, close the project, and then run the database utility. [From the Project Menu, it is not available when the database is open]. Click on all of the box items, and tell it ok. Then, after it is done, you can run it though a validation. [Ctrl Shift while you open the project name] WIth big projects, lots of busses and scenarios, it does take some time. I have never had it take8 hrs plus though. 2-3 hours yes easially. With small projects however you won't have time to finish a coffee. |

A representative from SKM posted a response to some of these concerns on another thread in this forum. It is the last post on the thread. I added the link here to the post for everyone. [SKM Thread] |

If you have not contacted SKM or do not have support here is an option: Validate your project http://www.skm.com/faq_genPtw14.html if that is not the issue you may have to rebuild the one-line - not the project just the one-line. this is done using expand function. Lastly, if these don't work - try exporting the project into an new project. |

Thanks all !! got my one-line fixed. I have used all the above mentioned tips. The tip that worked for me was merging the project into the blank project. Before merging the project I did validation as well as ran the database utility. |
