2015 NFPA 70E Proposals Development - Group Effort Many requests have been made to use the Arc Flash Forum as a place to develop proposals (now called public input) for the 2015 edition of NFPA 70E. Many forum members have great ideas for improving this important standard but are not in a position to make a formal submittal to NFPA. This area will be used to collectively develop public input (proposals) for the 2015 Edition. If you have a specific section in the 2012 Edition that you feel needs changed, please begin a new thread for each change/suggestion.
A small group did this on a limited scale for the 2012 Edition with some success. Opening this up to all with an interest in electrical safety will hopefully help the continued improvement of the next edition. |

Are these dates correct? They are nearly two years in the past. |

Yes, the June 22 NFPA deadline is correct. Since NFPA 70E is on a 3 year revision cycle, the call for proposals (public input) comes early in the cycle. There is a lot of work that happens after the close and the 2015 edition is almost ready for release later this year. And then.... the whole process begins again. |

It wasn't the June 22 date I was questioning as much as it was the 2012 year I was questioning. |
