I am working on spec'ing out the max distance gap from our flexible PV modules to the gounding plane for 3.2kvdc and 6kvdc. The product uses various polymers like EVA and PET and ETFE as barriers and is around 0.75mm thick at nominal point.
The module does not lay flat, thier could be 3-4mm gaps long the DUT to the gound plane.
My testing shows that we need to keep the gap aournd 2-3mm max inorder to detect a breakdown @50uA through the polymer...
Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
What types of air gaps might be accetable for the above application?
Thanks in Advance
