Hi,

We have a situation here with a breaker with HRC of 4 or >4 with no closing and tripping coil on the breaker. The personnal must operate manually the breaker.

To improve the situation, we want to add a tripping and closing coil on the breaker and connect them to a switch 20-30 feet away to operate the breaker.

The most expensive part in this is the motor, to charge the spring. The client want to know if it's possible to charge the spring manually on the breaker, door closed, and then operate it away, with the switch, so no motor to buy.

What do you think, is there to much risk when you just charge the spring?

Thanks
