Quick question. Does anyone know where I might be able to get some statistics for the arc flash industry potential in north America? Has anyone ever an approximate money amount for the potential of this industry? Thanks in advance.

According to statistics complied by Capshell, Inc, a Chicago based research firm that specializes in preventing workplace injuries and deaths, five to ten arc flash explosions occur in electrical equipment every day in the United States. Capelli-Schellpfeffer refers to an EPRI study that found a cost of $1.5 million per case.
