what are the best types of fire extinguisher can be use for switchgear? Yes class c of course but as in halatron or what.....I got some engineer telling me he wants deionized water and that is best.

I think this question is best answered by the facility insurance carrier or as required by local building & fire codes.

My vote would be for CO2. There is no residue to clean up, and it will make inspection and repair easier.

My vote is for PKP powder, because I repair switchgear :)
