I'm looking for the tables in NFPA 70E 2012 that were in section D.8 under the title: "Estimated Incident Energy Exposures for Live Line Work on Overhead Open Air Systems 1kV to 800kV".

They don't appear to be in 70E 2012 yet the corresponding tables are still in NESC 2012... What am I missing?

good question. would be nice to hear from someone involved in NFPA 70E 2012 development what's happening to section D.8 and the reason why the section does not appear in the new standard edition?

My guess would be that since there is no direct coordination between the 70E Committee and the NESC Committee (unlike say CSA Z462), they probably deleted them not knowing what the NESC was going to do. This is similar to where the "low voltage exception" which used to quote IEEE 1584 (less than 125 kVA, 240 volts, one transformer) has been removed from 70E, at least temporarily.

The tables did change drastically, for the <15 kV section...for the most part they now refer to NFPA 70E or EPRI data. Above that value, they still use values calculated from ArcPro, just as in the 2012 edition.

I think you mean <1 kV.
