Hello,
I was curious to see how other people are handling equipment downstream of VFD's. I don't have much experience with VFD's but I would think that due to the nature of a VFD it would not support much of an arc due to rapid circuitry response.
Thoughts/comments/discussion?

I handle disconnects downstream of VFD's the same way as I handle them if there were no VFD installed. The VFD makes no impact on my study of downstream equipment. Most VFD's are non-regen and will not allow current from the motor to pass backward to the supplying bus.
