Hi all, I am new to the forum - so hopefully my question is worthy of your time. When considering the required vent area for a switchgear enclosure, how can the let-through energy of a MCCB determine this value? I performed similar studies incorporating the bolted fault current and detail of the phase separation/proportion of energy etc. though cannot seem to find a correlation. DATA- System fault level - 26.5kA MCCB operating time - 12ms Energy let-through - 4,110,173A2.s Variables of cable impedence/enclosure volume are immaterial atm, simply looking for procedure. Cheers
