Hello, If I needed to series-rate a panelboard. Do I enter the rating of the breaker in the Series rating box under the component subview? I know in EasyPower I would select a check mark and it would pass on the device evaluation because it is still showing up as a fail on skm. Am I missing a step? |

In SKM, if you open up a device by double clicking on it, the component editor for that device will appear. You should be on the "protective device" subview, and on that view, there is a "series rating" field. You should be able to fill that in with the appropriate series rating for that device. Mike |

Yes, but what about the device evaluation? is there a way to show it as passed because it is being series rated? |

I haven't had any issues in the equipment evaluation displaying series rated devices that pass. Mike |

Mike is correct. If you enter a series rating in the Component Editor for the device, or bus, and that rating is higher than the X/R adjusted, calculated available fault current, it will pass the Device Evaluation. |
