I can only imagine where this might lead to: "Why do I need a study when I can go to WalMart and buy labels?" or "Send me just the report and I will buy the labels at WalMart." |

Wow! Next up: Craig's List and E-Bay! Interesting that Category 1 is "Danger" and it is for operating controls. |

Don't like 1? How about 0? Wallmart (and Brady) has the answer: http://www.walmart.com/ip/BRADY-121106-Appropriate-PPE-Required-Hazard-Category-0-Arc-Flash-Label/40875743 |

Interesting choice. I guess if you are using the tables for your arc flash study (calculated short circuit and clearing time) you might be ok. This is another way to misuse the tables by not knowing the short circuit current and clearing time. If you are doing an incident energy analysis then you must identify the arc flash boundary and the incident energy, followed up with the risk assessment before determining PPE requirements. |

This is very concerning for the safety of working personnel and general public. Hope no one bought it. May be OSHA should get there ask for detail study report. |
