The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) Convention, June 28-July 1 in San Antonio gave many a safety professional a chance to hear what OSHA plans to accomplish during the current administration. There was a standing- room-only audience when Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis and Acting Assistant Secretary of OSHA Jordan Barab took the stage, on different occasions, during the beginning of the conference.
