Thanks for posting this. I read all the comments. The consensus to me, seems to be:

The TIA is not required.
The TIA is not an emergency.

It'll be interesting to see what the TC does with this. Its unfortunate, that the TC puts itself in a position of contradicting IEEE, but at the same time referencing IEEE as the analysis method.

Is it really so difficult for the TC to get align itself with the IEEE, keep it simple, think of the employer as well as the employee, and recognize the concept of 'biggest bang for the buck'.
