What is the minimum arc rating (cal/cm2) of protection that you and/or personnel at your company wear?

Electrical Lead

On our arc flash labels, it is stated at 18", but we have down to .4 at 18" up to 182.7 for extreme danger cases. PPE only up to CAT4.

Risk category 1 or risk category 2 to enter that plant ( two different locations with different policy) and then a fully rated arc flash suit (above 40 cal/cm2) to put on when encountering any higher than RC 1 switchgear.

We are requiring non-melting clothing minimum. Coveralls rated HRC 2 and faceshields/balacalava available when required. Also HRC 4 suit and related equipment available when needed.

I should add this is a facility with the majority of equipment 2 or less.
