Arc Flash Studies.

As a company we are looking at studying Arc Flashes and doing the calculations.
As a director I don't want to jump into this without fully understanding it, can you point me in the right direction so we can be trained and qualified to do the arc flash studies.
Regards,
BARDO.

As an individual I have about 15 under my belt. The company I am working for has done many more over the years and have 7 qualified engineers in modelling with various software suites, and developing mitigation techniques for individual plants.

Are you looking to develop reports for many sites, or one? I would recommend that if it is for a single plant you can hire a consultant (PM me ;) ) to develop the report for your plant and then provide training to your personnel on the hazards, PPE, when revisions are required, etc.

Otherwise there are a number of training agencies that can help you. http://brainfiller.com/ has some great material.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
