Post subject:  Arc Flash Labels - Motor Control Centers
This week's question regarding motor control centers was brought up at an IEEE 1584 meeting earlier this year.

When labeling non arc rated motor control centers, we :

  • Label based on a protective device upstream from the MCC
  • Use 1 label for feeders based on the main and 1 for the main based on an upstream device
  • It depends on the MCC design
