Have you experienced counterfeit electrical equipment? Either during bidding, or construction or anywhere? Stories are great!

It would be interesting to compile a list of equipment most known for counterfeiting.

Counterfeit is claiming to be something it is not. I have come across arc flash clothing, with supporting test certificates that are not correct or copied from other products.
The biggest one I have come across is electrical insulating matting and blankets which is just ordinary rubber matting/blankets untested. Though this is not arc flash and only secondary protection, it is shocking the levels of counterfeit on this product.
