Post subject:  DC Electric Shock
I have posted several questions about electric shock in the past. Here is a new one based on a recent conversation about the subject.

Have you ever been shocked by a DC system? If the answer is yes, what was the voltage?

Yes, 24 volt.

I was replacing a smashed photo eye; I picked it up twice before I realized I was being shocked. :oops: The equipment operators thought it was hilarious; obviously they had all already touched it too.

90, 180, 240, 500 - I used to work on Inverters and DC drives (component level repairs and field service). I can't even count how many times I was shocked off the case of an ungrounded oscilloscope when connected to the armature

125 DC, to the back of the hand, off of the back of a GE protective relay panel door. I grew to hate that dual "door behind door" setup for their gas turbine packages, but it did conserve on the space. Now it would all be replaced by one relay.
