Since the 2015 Edition of NFPA 70E did away with Hazard Risk Tables and replaced them with PPE tables, will you ever use the new PPE Tables? Yes No |

I think the new tables are awful. The versions in the 1st and 2nd drafts weren't bad. They were similar to this: https://www.osha.gov/pls/oshaweb/owadis ... &p_id=9873 under Table 1. Then something happened. We have a definition of "normal operation" in 130.2(A)(2) for instance but then it is never used in the tables. OSHA gives about a dozen different task categories and so did the original drafts of 70E-2015. But the final version includes over 2 dozen entries many of which are very confusing in terms of what they are intended to cover. |

I am under the obligation of training apprentices and journeyman in the latest rules and regulations so I have no choice but to introduce them to the new PPE Category Table of the 2015 NFPA 70E |
