Post subject:  IEEE 1584.1 "Dot One"

Now that IEEE 1584 is approaching the finish line (fingers crossed) the standard IEEE 1584.1 will need to brought in to sync. This standard was originally published in 2013.

“Dot One” as we informally call it is titled:
IEEE Guide for the Specification of Scope and Deliverable Requirements for an Arc-Flash Hazard Calculation Study in Accordance with IEEE Std 1584™

The Scope of this standards is: This document provides guidance for the specification and performance of an arc-flash hazard calculation study, in accordance with the process defined in IEEE Std 1584™.1 It outlines the minimum recommended requirements to enable the owner or its representative to specify an arc-flash study, including scope of work and associated deliverables.
