The complete title of IEEE 1584.1 that was published in 2013 is the Guide for the Specification of Scope and Deliverable Requirements for an Arc-Flash Hazard Calculation Study in Accordance with IEEE Std 1584â„¢ (notice the DOT ONE) this is NOT the same as the recently published IEEE 1584.

The Scope is:
1.1 Scope
This document provides guidance for the specification and performance of an arc-flash hazard calculation
study, in accordance with the process defined in IEEE Std 1584â„¢.1 It outlines the minimum recommended
requirements to enable the owner or its representative to specify an arc-flash study, including scope of work
and associated deliverables.

I have asked questions about the IEEE 1584.1 (dot one) standard in the past but this week’s question is a different view with up to 4 answers – Select all that apply.

When it comes to IEEE 1584.1, I have:
- Heard of it
- Have a copy
- Read it
- Use it
- 1584 dot what?
