This week’s question is a continuation of the subject regarding maintenance, properly maintained, and condition of maintenance. The question is about - NETA MTS Standard for Maintenance Testing Specifications for Electrical Power Equipment and Systems.

When it comes to the NETA Standard for Testing Electrical Equipment - I have:

When dealing with Sationary Battery Systems I recommend following the appropriate IEEE standard vs. the NETA standard.

I just learned of this yesterday: 70 MW industrial site with a line of arc flash labelled 13.8 kV switchgear. The battery, in a separate room, has electrolyte low enough to expose the plates. Please don't fail to maintain this extremely important piece of equipment.
