When dealing with Sationary Battery Systems I recommend following the appropriate IEEE standard vs. the NETA standard. |

I just learned of this yesterday: 70 MW industrial site with a line of arc flash labelled 13.8 kV switchgear. The battery, in a separate room, has electrolyte low enough to expose the plates. Please don't fail to maintain this extremely important piece of equipment. |
