How do you label a low voltage MCC with different size buckets?
Use IEEE 1584/software default 20” x 20” for each bucket (worst case)
Use actual dimensions for all bucket - Select worse case
Something else
It depends
Does not apply to me

Since the 2018 Edition of IEEE 1584 has modeling capability for different size enclosures, this week’s question is about labeling low voltage (600 volts and less) motor control centers with different size buckets.

It is possible that if there are different size buckets at an MCC, the calculated incident energy could vary at each bucket.

This week’s question:

How do you label a low voltage MCC with different size buckets?

Use IEEE 1584/software default 20” x 20” for all bucket (worst case)
Use actual dimensions for each bucket - select worse case
Something else
