Bonjour,
I'm working on a DC arc generator. This generator is able to create an arc beetween two electrodes of tungsten. The DC Voltage is about 300V and the arc is stable. I measure the arc voltage of about 200V for a gap of 1mm.
I have found figures with the arc voltage and current for different gaps here :
http://www.arcadvisor.com/faq/dc_direct_current_arc.html.
This figures tells that the voltage must be of about 50V for 10 mm gap, and this is in condradiction with my measure.
My question : is my measure false (have i ommitted something) or are the figures false ?
Thanks
