Hi,
I am trying to model a wind turbine and have done so as an induction generator. The turbine is connected to a 690V/34500V step up transformer. The issue I am having is comprehending when there is a fault in the nacelle of the turbine. ETAP analyzes this as both the grid and the generator adding to the fault levels and gives an IE level of around 200 cal/cm2. This seems very high, am I doing something wrong here?

What is the time being used for the calculation. If the tripping time is more than 0.5 seconds, the arc flash energy will be very large.
