Hi there, this is my first post so be gentle! I have been searching around (web and these forums) for information regarding the characteristics of the visible light emission spectrum from an arc flash event, but have come up short. Does such a thing exist? I know that every arc is unique and dependent on many variables, so maybe I looking for a castle in the air here |

According to Wien's displacement law, the peak wavelength and total radiated amount vary with temperature. |

Thanks arcad, I will investigate this. However, I was looking for a more practical set of real-world measurements taken from actual experiments. |
