Has anyone recieved or heard of an FR repair kit? One that might include patches that you can heat seal? |

Most PPE providers will give you a repair kit, keep in mind the manufacture will have specific repair guidelines and all materials used have to be FR, thread and patch (same ATPV rating for the patch). |

Workrite has patch material that is of the heat transfer type. Below are the basic requirements. General: • The patching fabric must be the same as the garment fabric. • For minor tears and thin spots apply per application instructions below. • For holes; no adhesive is to be exposed to the skin • Patches should not exceed 2” x 4”. Application: • Use a heat press • Upper plate temperature 400° F • Lower plate temperature 350° F • Press load 80 lbs. • Dwell time 10 seconds |
