I was recently asked about the safety harness required to be worn when working in the boom lift. Our safety harnesses are made of 70% Nylon, 15% Polyester and 15% Urethane elastomer. If arc flash PPE is required for the task (such as verification of de-energization), what about the safety harness?

This is a rather old interpretation, probably predating the advent of FR harnesses. Since FR harnesses are available now, why not employ them?
