I'm trying to find information about a manufacturer of FR clothing called Rasco. Has anyone purchased any of thier product that could give me some feedback as to quality etc? I'm also trying to find more information regarding FR clothing that has a sprayed on protection. Does anyone have any experinece with those products that could offer feedback? In particular, how long it lasts, is it comfortable, can the spray on come off? Thank you in advance for any information you are able to provide. |

If it is sprayed on, can it pass the ASTM tests and is it considered arc rated rather than just flame resistant? I don't know the answer, just asking the question. |

I don't know either, but in the Navy we had shirts that were treated with a spray on FR chemical, they were stiff and scratchy. We all knew to wash them a bunch of times to get the chemical off so they were soft. |

That's what I'm curious about as well. I would like to know how many times you wash it before the chemical comes off. Not even the manufacturer seems to be able to provide the information |

Then it sounds like you have an answer. Probably better off staying away unless they can provide better information. |
