Are there any companies out there providing 12 cal rated shirts? |

We just ordered some 12 cal rated jackets for all of our electricians to carry around with their arc flash PPE. At a prior location, I had ordered what I believe were 12 cal welding jackets for all employees, but it appears that they have been discontinued by the manufacturer I was using. For regular shirts, I haven't really found much better than 10 cal easily available. |

Drifire has 12 cal. There are many in knits but just a few in wovens. I think you can get some from the main companies. Check online for this. NSA shows some but I know almost every manufacturer has them. Most focus on 8 in shirts and better than that in coveralls. It could be a pretty heavy shirt depending on the fabric composition. I know CarbonX has 12 cal long sleeved knits as do others. |
