I recall from my training a few years back, a test with a manikin outfitted with long coat and leggings. The free standing manikin was not knocked over, and was burned above the leggings. Perhaps Hugh can elaborate. |

Hi All I have attached a white paper in which Tom Neal wrote on protection concerns with the long coat for arc flash protection. It is a few years old however I am sure that the information is still valid

We had issues with the long coat when people would squat down. They would forget to pull up the coat and rip the zipper out. This would take the suit out of service until repairs could be made. |
