I heard Fiat is looking for EE's with lighting reduction and vending machine energy cost saving experience to save a euro in their "new" US auto plants.
They will find plenty of them available for work in Detroit.

But you miss the point. OSHA and NFPA need to start 'helping' US business survive. Historically they just placed 'demands' on them, meet them or shut down. Well, they are shutting down. This is bad for the country as a whole. When there is NO industry, there will be NO industrial accidents. Its like the Unions of today, they have to change to survive. All parties need to start to realize that our economic prosperity as a country depends on us all working together - this includes NFPA. They should have just designed the Table better, and made it universally acceptable without the footnote verification requirement. That would have been a positive step, that would have been 98% effective. The burden placed on USA business for Arc Flash currently is excessive if they have to hire outside EE's and spend 30 to 50K for an analysis, plus clothing. We better start thinking 'big picture' or in 30 years we won't have any industry.
