NFPA 70E Art.130.3 Ex. #1

Hello,

I'm new to this site. My question is with the new NFPA70E '09 out which
standard do we adhere to, '04 or '09 ? I'm looking @ Art.130.3 exception
#1 in the new '09 book, that is not in the '04 code book.
thanks

Exception

Always move to the new standard as soon as possible. The exception was from IEEE 1584 and has been out since 2002. If you were doing arc flash studies you could have used it then pointing to that standard as justification.

We find he standards always fix things on almost every cycle. Sometimes it messes something up but it usually fixes more than it hurts.
