 Post subject: Table 2 and Table 4 for gap and conductor distances

When calculating the IE at an equipment, which of the two gap distances should I use?

The one given by Table 2 or the one shown in Table 4?

Table 2 is for bus and Table 4 is for conductors, but buses are also conductors.

Please explain.
