CSA Z462, 2024 Edition will have some significant changes coming if they are approved by the Technical Committee during final meetings and balloting in 2023.
I am a founding member and voting member on the CSA Z462 Technical Committee. Also the Working Group Leader for Clause 4.1 and the Annexes.
Will be able to provide more details in 2023.
CSA Z462 for the most part will still be technically harmonized with NFPA 70E, but the changes occurring in CSA Z462 that I believe are significant in a positive way for continuing to clarify and interpret will not be in NFPA 70E, 2024 Edition.
We had CSA Z462 Technical Committee Meetings in May and November 2022.
