The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET, formerly the IEE) has launched the Code of Practice for Electrical Safety Management which has been developed by IET Standards.
The new Code provides a comprehensive overview of the fundamentals of electrical safety, as well as a systematic process for assessing and managing electrical safety in any business. It provides a good practice practical guide in the form of a self-assessment, ensuring that anyone who looks after an organisation’s electrical system can follow a methodical approach to understanding their organisation and the management of the various aspects and risks of an electrical system.
