Hi can some one guide me on the following things. - What are the major changes in NFPA 2012 compared to previos version.
- How Can we implement NFPA 70e 2012 using PTW 6.5 version.
- If yes kindly guide the procedure. Thanks in advance for help.

1. If you purchase NFPA 70E-2012, you will find a synopsis of the changes in the Foreword as well as the changes highlighted throughout the document. 2. Can't help there as I use EasyPower but they have updated to follow the need NFPA 70E. I would imagine that if you have a yearly maintenance contract, PTW does the same. Any PTW users will comment I am sure. 3. See #1 above.

I don't remember when 6.5 came out, but I think it was before the update. That doesn't mean you can't comply, but the most simple method is pay your maintenance fee and update to version 7 of PTW

70E does not directly support any particular analysis method. Thus PTW is unaffected. The only "change" is that the 125 kva rule was dropped. It has not been changed in IEEE 1584 yet, and this is all outside 1584.
