Hello,
Apparently we have a situation where a documented switching procedure is required by 225.30(E). Does anyone have an example they could share? How detailed does this have to be? Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Did not look at the Code but OSHA requires a documented switching procedure under 1910.269 and also in the LOTO regulations (pick one). That does not mean that it must be a SPECIFIC procedure. It can be a generic LOTO procedure. There is an example in the annexes of 70E.

WBD - thanks for bringing this up. I never noticed it before.

(E) Documented Switching Procedures. Additional feeders or branch circuits shall be permitted to supply installations under single management where documented safe switching procedures are established and maintained for disconnection.
