I read much of it but I can't say I read all of it. Mostly because only about half of the pages are the actual standard and the other half are annexes with material that didn't seem too important. My main interest way back when I read it were the equations and how does it all work.

Most of it, I could not say all for similar reasons. But there is important content in the amendments that should be read.

Anyone performing this type of work should not only read but be familiar with all applicable sections of this document. I see many people performing studies that is not familiar with this document but simply put numbers in a computer program and provide the output to their customer without a good practical knowledge of general electrical safe work practices.
