Ese conjunto de investigaciones explor\u00f3 el rendimiento de algunas prendas con clasificaci\u00f3n de arco cuando se las somete directamente a los flujos convectivos de un arco el\u00e9ctrico. La conclusi\u00f3n fue que es posible que sea necesario reducir la clasificaci\u00f3n de arco del EPP cuando se lo somete a los flujos convectivos (de electrodos horizontales).<\/p>\n<p>Avanzamos r\u00e1pidamente y encontramos que la edici\u00f3n 2018 de IEEE 1584 \u2013 Gu\u00eda IEEE para realizar c\u00e1lculos de riesgo de arco el\u00e9ctrico lleva a una conclusi\u00f3n similar. Excepto que en lugar de <strong><em>reduciendo<\/em><\/strong> la clasificaci\u00f3n de arco del EPP, cuando los c\u00e1lculos de energ\u00eda incidente utilizan la configuraci\u00f3n de electrodos HCB, el resultado es una mayor energ\u00eda incidente, lo que requiere <strong><em>creciente<\/em><\/strong> en la clasificaci\u00f3n del arco.<\/p>\n<p>En este video, Jim Phillips explica sus hallazgos comparando los dos m\u00e9todos.
