PEOR: vas a contratar el estudio y no sabes qu\u00e9 pedir. La buena noticia es que hay muchos consultores bien calificados que pueden guiarte a trav\u00e9s del proceso. La mala noticia es que hay muchas personas dispuestas a aprovecharse de la situaci\u00f3n una vez que se dan cuenta de que este podr\u00eda ser tu primer estudio.<\/p><h2><strong>Terreno peligroso<\/strong><\/h2><p>No se debe pensar en un estudio de arco el\u00e9ctrico como algo que simplemente hay que \u201cmarcar en la lista\u201d. Sin embargo, muchas personas a\u00fan lo ven as\u00ed. No es raro escuchar: \u201cNo entiendo completamente qu\u00e9 es un estudio de arco el\u00e9ctrico, pero lo necesito\u201d o \u201c\u00bfNo puede simplemente proporcionarnos un estudio t\u00edpico?\u201d.<\/p><p>Esta puede ser una visi\u00f3n peligrosa porque, a diferencia de otros tipos de estudios anal\u00edticos, un estudio de arco el\u00e9ctrico se utiliza para especificar la protecci\u00f3n adecuada contra el peligro de arco el\u00e9ctrico potencialmente mortal. Se trata de la seguridad de una persona y los errores pueden provocar lesiones graves o algo peor.<\/p><h2><strong>Confusi\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h2><p>Todav\u00eda ocurre que las especificaciones del estudio se desarrollan meticulosamente y se cree que cubren todo. El prop\u00f3sito del IEEE 1584.1 es ayudar a las personas a comprender el alcance m\u00ednimo del trabajo y los resultados requeridos. El est\u00e1ndar define las pautas m\u00ednimas recomendadas para realizar el estudio de arco el\u00e9ctrico seg\u00fan la norma IEEE Std 1584\u2122: Gu\u00eda IEEE para realizar c\u00e1lculos de peligro de arco el\u00e9ctrico.<\/p><h2><strong>Requisitos para realizar el estudio<\/strong><\/h2><p>Una de las primeras consideraciones que se deben tener en cuenta es la cualificaci\u00f3n de la persona que realizar\u00e1 el estudio. La norma IEEE 1584.1 recomienda que el estudio de arco el\u00e9ctrico lo realice una persona con experiencia en an\u00e1lisis de sistemas el\u00e9ctricos y an\u00e1lisis de riesgos de arco el\u00e9ctrico, o que lo haga bajo su direcci\u00f3n. Si la persona que realiza el estudio tiene experiencia limitada, el estudio debe ser revisado por una persona con m\u00e1s experiencia.<\/p><p>Otra consideraci\u00f3n es que algunas juntas estatales de licencias de ingenier\u00eda pueden considerar un estudio de arco el\u00e9ctrico como un servicio de ingenier\u00eda. Esto puede requerir que el estudio sea realizado por un ingeniero autorizado o bajo su direcci\u00f3n. Se debe contactar a la junta de ingenier\u00eda de cada estado para determinar los requisitos de cada uno.<\/p><h2><strong>Alcance: qu\u00e9 incluir<\/strong><\/h2><p>\u201cPero pens\u00e9 que ibas a incluir\u2026\u201d es otro comentario frecuente que se escucha durante la revisi\u00f3n de un estudio. Definir qu\u00e9 equipo debe incluirse puede ser una de las partes m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles de la especificaci\u00f3n. De manera similar, \u00bflos resultados de un estudio de coordinaci\u00f3n se utilizan \u00fanicamente para determinar la duraci\u00f3n de la corriente de arco en cada ubicaci\u00f3n del estudio o tambi\u00e9n se deben hacer recomendaciones para mejorar la coordinaci\u00f3n y\/o reducir la energ\u00eda incidente?<\/p><h2><strong>Es una lista larga<\/strong><\/h2><p>La lista de elementos que deben tenerse en cuenta como parte del estudio de arco el\u00e9ctrico es bastante larga.
