The next edition of IEEE 1584 is nearing completion. I put together this one hour video to explain the major changes to the next edition of IEEE 1584 such as the new electrode configurations, the deleted 125 kVA exception, enclosure size correction factors, elimination of grounded vs. ungrounded consideration, arcing current variation correction factor and more. I also discuss the 16 year history of the making of this standard. And of course, my IEEE 1584/Arc Flash Studies training schedule is also listed at the end.
