It has been 6 months since the 2018 Edition of IEEE 1584 was published. Software companies have been updating their arc flash software based on this latest edition.

This week’s question is about upgrading/using arc flash software based on the 2018 Edition of IEEE 1584.

Regarding arc flash software based on the 2018 IEEE 1584, I/We have:

-Updated software to the 2018 edition
-Viewed/Experimented with latest edition
-Used latest edition for a study
-Still using software based on the 2002 edition
-Not Applicable / Don’t perform studies
