Whether it is providing the keynote address or giving a presentation for your next conference or corporate function, he can discuss a wide variety of topics. Jim regularly is invited to speak at events both in the United States and locations around the world.
With over 30 years of experience in the electric power industry, and with his deep involvement in the development of many national and international electrical standards, he can provide a talk about a large array of subjects. Topics can range from discussing the latest arc flash research and standards work, to his forensic investigations that have included several high profile international events to many other topics regarding electric power system.
Jim is the International Chairman of Geneva, Switzerland based International Electro-Technical Commission’s TC 78 for Live Working which includes protective equipment, tools and arc flash protection. He continues to travel the globe typically flying over 150,000 miles a year to work with various U.S. and international standards organizations and speak at many conferences and training events.
Jim and his wife of four decades live in Scottsdale, Arizona and have two children and one grandson.
