Jim Phillips, International Chair of IEC TC78 along with the world’s leading technical experts for Live Working all came together in Jonage (Lyon), France this week for their Plenary and Working Group meetings. Mr. Phillps stated, “It is such an honor to be the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 of IEC TC 78 Live Working which is represented by 𝟒𝟐 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 comprise of 𝟏𝟓𝟗 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬.” TC 78 is responsible for developing international standards for tools, equipment and devices used in Live Working.

IEEE PCIC Conference – Prize Paper It is quite an honor to receive the PCIC Prize Paper Award – 3rd Best at the IEEE PCIC Conference held in Orlando. This is for the paper “Arc Flash Calculations: DGUV-I 203-077 VS. It was such an honor to be the 𝐊𝐞𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 for the first annual 𝐀𝐫𝐜 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝟑𝟔𝟎 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 held in Brimingham, England.  This was definitely the A list of speakers and it was a privilege to be with them. Thanks to all that made this possible and all who attended. My challenge for everyone that took part: Keep spreading the knowledge about the arc flash hazard and electrical safety! You ARE helping to save lives.
